In order to assure that ALL contract service personnel are safe for entering the patient care areas at DeKalb Medical Hillandale, we require them to register with our Vendormate system located to the left of the fish tank in the lobby. This system does the work of assuring that all hospital requirements and background screens are done on our visiting contractors and vendors prior to them having access to our patient care departments. If a vendor appears on a patient care unit without a name badge sticker present, he or she will be sent down to the front desk to get a sticker from our Vendormate computer.
If you are a DeKalb Medical Hillandale vendor and have NOT registered with Vendormate yet, there are laminated cards that will instruct you on registering with the company. Once you are registered within the system, there is a very simple sign-in system on the computer which will generate a temporary identification sticker to wear while you are on our grounds. The system is used widely across the city in many hospitals and only requires a single registration.
If there are any questions on this system, please check with the staff at the front desk. Thank you very much for helping us keep DeKalb Medical Hillandale a safe and secure environment for patient care!
