Welcome to the DeKalb Medical Physician page. Included in this section are a variety of tools to help you with your practice. Some areas are secure and require a password. Medical Staff Membership and Recruitment If you are a physician interested in joining the DeKalb Medical staff or relocating to Atlanta, contact the DeKalbMedicalPhysicianRecruitmentCenter at 404.501.4362 or recruitmentcenter@dekalbmedical.org to learn more about current opportunities, information about the community, the hospital system services and the benefits of our Physician Hospital Organization and the DeKalb Quality Institute.
Community Outreach and Marketing DeKalb Medical is actively involved in community outreach and education. Many of the venues used for outreach are good opportunities for physicians to gain visibility. If you are an active staff physician interested in participating in outreach events or being a speaker, send an email to leah.vanderkooy@dekalbmedical.org for consideration.
The Media Relations function of DeKalb Medical sometimes has the opportunity to help reporters find medical experts on various topics. If you are willing to talk to reporters about various diseases and conditions, please send an email to prmarketingrequests@dekalbmedical.org with your name, email address, phone number and topics for which you can serve as an expert. DeKalb Medical Active Staff physicians who offer innovative and specialized procedures are encouraged to participate and contribute to the Doc Talk publication. |
